I made this RS-232 driver module (for MAX233 or compatible) in about 1 hour.
 

Rockwell FORTH-based controller (6502-based).
The Rockwell F65F11 -- my very first wire-wrapped computer (..still have most of it).

Clock generator, 8_Mhz input, 2 cascaded LS161 counters and a 4020 (with pullup).
This can generate many different clocks --  lots of outputs!
 

And what's this!?
a DIY-Z80..?  almost.
