NEW: 8080-to-Z80 Conversion (AWK Script)
Convert anything from the vast archives of 8080 assembler code
to Z80-compatible source, using toZ80.awk (Text, 20KB)
You can modify or enhance this awk script to suit your personal needs; for
example, to convert assembler directives also.
Requires the
AWK scripting language for your system -- it's only one file; simple to install:
For example,
- For Windows, I downloaded gawk306x.zip,
- extracted gawk-w32.exe into my /System32 folder,
- and renamed it to 'awk'.
Also find an
Online Manual for gawk at GNU.org). Note: GNU awk is named 'gawk'.
Z80 Emulator
Take a look at MYZ80
by Simeon Cran -- This is by far the best Z80 and CP/M emulator around;
runs on any DOS or Windows machine. It's like having an 80_MHz virtual
Z80 machine running on your Pentium PC. (and stay
tuned -- I might even port LS-DOS
to it some day!)
8080 to Z80 Translator
After I looked all over the entire www for one, I decided to dig in my
floppies and make my copy available. Download ZTRAN.COM
for your CP/M system and put it to use.. { note: this is a Z80
CP/M executable; will not run on DOS. It requires a Z80 processor }.
Small Z80 Board

Board -- this is a chronology of schematics in GIF format.
